What you will be responsible for:
THE ROLE
Perform key operational responsibilities related to stewardship activities on MFS portfolios.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Signing and maintenance of client LOAs and POAs
  • QC of analyst votes
  • Monthly and annual reconciliation of proxy vote setup with external vendors
  • Weekly, monthly internal reconciliation reviews (Share Materiality, default account group, etc.)
  • Researches and analyzes trading information for class actions
  • Set up of proxy voting in MFS internal systems upon client onboarding
  • Quarterly code of ethics review
  • Participation in due diligence meetings for vendors
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Required:
  • 0-2 + years of experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Personal initiative/problem solving skills/strong attention to detail
  • Ability to cover off-hour shifts when needed
Preferred:
  • 4 years financial services experience and/or 1-2 years in a trading type environment
  • Experience with filling out Power of Attorney documentation
