Trading Analyst Job at Lord Abbett.com
The Role:
Lord Abbett is looking to hire a trading analyst to assist and support the credit traders within its Global Fixed Income Trading group. The trading analyst will initially work with experienced traders to learn market structure and trading protocol for various credit asset classes. Successful completion of the training program will lead to a dedicated credit trading role.
We’ll trust you to::
- Fulfill our fiduciary responsibility to our clients to achieve best execution on all transactions
- Provide timely updates and analysis on credit markets to our entire Investments platform
- Identify investment opportunities that align with portfolio strategy and make recommendations to portfolio managers supported with thoughtful, data-driven analysis
- Collaborate with research analysts to facilitate information sharing and investment dialogue
- Proactively interact with all parts of Global Trading to promote the development of best practices and market awareness
- Continuously evaluate the market, trading technology and our trade data to find new ways to improve both our trade execution and work-flow efficiency
- Manage and enhance our trading relationships to maximize liquidity and resource allocation
- Financial markets or investment related work experience
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage complexity
- Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of client focus
- Ability to collaborate in a team setting and work independently
- A strong passion for financial markets and investing
- Bachelor’s degree, CFA or progression towards CFA is a plus
