Rogers Group is currently seeking candidates for a TRAFFIC CONTROL TECHNICIAN position in Madison, TN . This position will work with multiple crews building various projects such as commercial parking lots, city streets, county roads, and interstate highways. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence.

• Responsible for setting up lane closures on high traffic projects in accordance with MUTCD regulations and at the direction of Traffic Control Foreman or Crew Foreman.

Wages starting at $20.00/hr. Higher compensation offered with experience and service time. Overtime available and extensive medical and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of prior experience working as a traffic control technician or flagger required.
• Prior experience working with traffic control on large-scale highway construction projects – such as interstates and state highways – required.
• Preference given to current ATSSA Traffic Control Technician Certification holders.
• Individual must be dedicated to working safely at all times.
• Experience preferred working road construction in high traffic areas.
• Demonstrated ability to be a leader both in work ethic and workplace safety.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and nights when necessary.
• Team player.
• Willing to be trained to flag/regulate traffic in accordance with MUTCD guidelines.
• Willing to assist crew with manual labor duties, as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
