Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties may be assigned:

• Enter and verify various data regarding customer orders, invoicing, shipments, receipts, and inventory in a timely manner.
• Coordinate pickups and deliveries with carrier and sterilizer if required.
• Calculate freight rates based on appropriate tariffs, FAK, discounts and fuel surcharges.
• Confer with production, sales, shipping, customer service, warehouse and carrier personnel when necessary to expedite or trace missing or delayed inbound and outbound shipments and assist with resolution.
• Maintain and schedule receiving delivery appointments to ensure timely receipts of inbound products.
• Ability to utilize the allocated, but not shipped report, to ensure that shipments are not delayed and are flowing through the system smoothly.
• Must be able to perform all responsibilities of the Traffic Coordinator I position and serve as backup for the Traffic Coordinator III position.
