POSITION DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Trailer Technician
STATUS: FULL TIME
Hurricane Express provides our Driver Team Members with the finest Class 8 tractor-trailer equipment in the industry. Our custom Peterbilt trucks are the talk of the industry and a source of pride for the talented group of Trailer Technicians that diagnose, maintain, and repair our trailer equipment to keep our fleet running at peak performance. Our Maintenance team is top-notch and well respected in the industry.

This position is located near Siloam Springs, Ark.
OVERALL DUTIES:
Responsibilities – Trailer Technician:
· Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on refrigeration units and trailers.
· Assist lead Trailer Technicians as instructed.
· Follow proper safety protocols and procedures, including use of protective equipment, and maintain a safe work area in accordance with company policy.
· Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, reach
· Ability to push/pull
· Ability to lift/carry up to 75 lbs.
· Ability to grasp tools
· Ability to discern color
· Repetitive motions: wrenches and other handheld tools (Basic Tools Preferred)
· The ability to work approximately 10-15 feet off the ground
Required hours
· 40 hours per week - Monday through Friday from 08:00 –17:00 with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
· Overtime will be after hours and on weekends as needed and authorized by Management
