We Require
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Social Work, Psychology, Business, or a related field
  • One year of professional-level experience as a trainer or facilitator in a classroom setting, which includes the development of curricula or lesson plans
  • An equivalent combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis
  • Demonstrated experience working with vulnerable populations
  • Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Arizona driver’s license by the time of hire
  • Must successfully complete background check and fingerprint identification to secure and maintain an Arizona Department of Public Safety Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card

  • Develop, organize, and coordinate training modules to support the HSD Learning Academy
  • Able to present information with a variety of instructional techniques or formats, such as role playing, team exercises, group discussions, videos, or lectures in person
  • Knowledge of teaching strategies for all adult learning styles

  • Maintain records and create reports of all training delivered
  • Promote classes and workshops available through the HSD team, encouraging participation and collaboration
  • Maintain knowledge of HSD procedural and system best practices
Working Conditions
  • Work is routinely performed in an office environment. May require travel to and from job related locations during the course of a scheduled workday, subject to County policies regarding use of County vehicles and/or private vehicles used on County business
