Responsibilities:
- Conducts annual training and development needs assessment.
- Liaise with leadership to develop relationships in support of overall training goals.
- Develops training and development programs and objectives.
- Facilitates compliance training for HR.
- Obtains and /or develops effective training materials utilizing a variety of media.
- Develop managers, supervisors and others involved in employee development efforts and build stronger teams.
- Plans, organizes, facilitates employee development and training events.
- Develops and maintains organizational communications such as intranet bulletin boards and newsletters to ensure employees have knowledge of training and development events and resources.
- Conducts follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results.
- Modifies programs as needed.
- Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.
- Works effectively as a team member with other members of management and the HR staff.
- Facilitate book clubs, lunch and learns, teach how to measure goals and expectations.
- Assist with employee retention by building rapport and uncover issues that cause bigger issues.
- Align and partner with managers within the firm to build stronger teams.
- Enhance onboarding and orientation.
- Enhance employee career pathing and succession plans. Implement and maintain the programs emphasizing employee growth.
- Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback.
- Develop, maintain, and update skills and competency library.
- Delivers instructor-led training to employees such as mandatory and elective training programs, seminars, new employee orientation, and HR classes as requested.
- Tests trainees as to measure progress and effectiveness of training programs.
- Receives feedback from employees regarding effectiveness of training methods.
- Assist with the planning, design, implementation, electronic saving and distribution of training manuals, presentations, learning aids, student manuals and facilitator guides.
