Training and Human Resources System Specialist
Fareva is currently seeking an experienced Training and Human Resources System Specialist to join our team in Richmond, VA.

About the role:
Administrates the Learning Management System (LMS) for the Richmond Site. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining training curricula for employees; maintains data integrity to ensure training compliance with federal regulations; generates reports for management to facilitate the assignment of qualified labor to appropriate job functions; writes and publishes work instructions and standard operating procedures related to the Learning Management System; primary system contact during site FDA audits; provides system training to all users and grants system access after successful completion of training requirements; point-of-contact to troubleshoot functionality problems with Learning Management System; document employee training events and maintain training histories in accordance with cGMP documentation practices and system requirements; analyzes system to ensure data integrity; maintains the change control process for the system; performs scheduled system validation activities; lead and provide guidance for customer project teams to improve processes and develop and assign training curricula modules and courses.
Develops, maintains, and revises computer-based training courses. Responsibilities include coordinating and collaborating with departmental Subject Matter Experts to story-board, draft, publish, review, troubleshoot, and revise content
Assists with Human Resources (HR) Employee Portal. Responsibilities include:
- Loading of prospective employee information.
- Initiating background checks, and initiating drug-screening activities.
- Maintains filing of employee GMP signature cards.
- Primary lead on all company lunch events and set-up.
- Managing and ordering all site uniforms.
- Other miscellaneous duties as needed.
What you'll do:
- Responsible for maintenance and security of the learning management system. Maintains the system change control process to ensure data integrity. Manages the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) to ensure data is available upon request to support business activities.
- Develops, creates, and assigns training curricula, modules, and courses to all employees and maintains (adds, revises, retires) this information in the learning management system. Maintains all statistical data related to training necessary to support curricula activities.
- Control user accounts and assign appropriate privileges to site users. Adds or removes employees to/from the learning management system.Control user accounts and assign appropriate privileges to site users. Provide technical leadership to develop departmental standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work departmental trainers to deliver training and ensure links to TCI-controlled documents
- Direct Training coordinators/specialists and departmental trainers to maintain training documentation (electronic and hardcopy) in accordance with applicable regulations and guidelines. Ensures timely and accurate data entry, secure filing, retrieval, and auditing.
- Create, revise, and retire the corresponding SOPs and Job Aids according to the procedures required to control the Validated System of an electronic training database.
- Accesses client training data support needs, prepares ad hoc reports, standardized, and specialized reports, and performs analyses and system queries as needed. Analyzes reports and makes recommendations to management. Perform audits and generate reports.
- Establishes and maintains effective communication with all contributing/impacted departments to ensure data integrity, accurate training requirements, and good documentation practices
- Assists in the preparation and recommendation of TCI learning management systems functional long-range plans, objectives, and projects.
- Perform system updates and complete Performance Qualification and validation activities, as needed.
- Collaborate with departmental subject matter experts to develop, publish, and maintain computer-based training courses and assessments.
Our ideal candidate:
Education and experience:
- This position requires Associate degree in Computer Science or Business or 5+ years of work experience in data management in a compliance-based industry (i.e. food, medical, pharmaceutical, etc.). Preferred Bachelor’s degree.
- Strong knowledge of cGMP, Validation, and database technology in pharmaceuticals industry. preferred.
Skills and abilities:
- Training in cGMP computer applications in technical areas, technical standards, and functions.
- Working knowledge of Information Systems such as network, applications servers, database, software integration, etc.
- Strong administrative knowledge of Learning Management Systems.
