My Ride to Work is expanding and we need to hire a Transportation Program Manager in Reno, Nevada. The role will manage an employee transportation program that delivers employees to their work locations through a network of corporate shuttles. The ideal candidate has a passion for safety, efficiency, problem solving, customer service and innovation. An awesome relocation package is available for the right candidate!

The Program Manager will work with a variety of leaders in the company and the operations teams. You will be responsible for managing coach operators, dispatchers, vehicles, route planning, shuttle safety, shuttle scheduling, monitoring traffic conditions, and other logistical needs.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Act as a single source of information for all client needs.
  • Operate as an extension of the client’s internal team.
  • Provide client with detailed, accurate and timely reporting.
  • Provide client with unmatched and thoughtful ways to scale operations while growing participation.
  • Co-develop and co-lead a strategic vision to continuously improve efficiency and on time performance.
  • Interface with internal stakeholders to effectively manage change management for all parties, tracking stakeholders and deliverables.
  • Oversee monthly and quarterly client invoicing, forecasting, and ridership reports.
  • Manage rider communication in accordance to communication guidelines, tone, and timing.
  • Own, operate, and optimize the use of technology platforms to monitor operations to provide data driven recommendations.
  • Design, develop, and launch customer surveys.

Job Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in the role of a Program Manager in Transportation
  • 3 + years of team management experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
  • Proven ability to identify data trends, develop strategies and implement solutions to drive results
  • Previous experience overseeing a Transportation Management System (TMS)
  • Excellent organization and time management/multi-tasking skills
  • Great sense of urgency
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership of a project
  • Perform effectively in a team dynamic, as well as individually
  • Excellent written and oral communication
