Summary of Role:

We are currently looking for an experienced Transportation Manager to join our dedicated team to help us transform our supply chain operations. We currently have a presence in five countries and are in over eight thousand retail stores throughout United States! So, proven knowledge of consolidation programs and national distribution is a must. This will be a key role in the future success of Keto Foods, with an unlimited ability to grow!

Responsibilities:

• Build and manage relationships with logistics and cold chain partners
• Manage day-to-day supply-chain operations
• Research and suggest cost-effective shipping methods (lane analysis, contract versus spot rates, shipping modes, market trend analysis, etc.)
• Audit freight bills and dispute inaccuracies
• Track, trace, and manage shipments to ensure on time delivery to warehouses, retailers, distributors, etc.
• Assist with obtaining, filing, managing documents and invoices as needed

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of three years of experience in transportation management (or similar role) within the food production industry. Experience with ice cream is a plus!
• Proficient in consolidation programs and national distribution, experience with cold chain preferred.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge / familiarity with logistics software (TMS and WMS)
• Ability to analyze data and think strategically to create cost effective, tailored supply chain solutions and to effectively problem-solve
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-starter, can-do attitude with the ability to be agile in a growing start-up organization
• High School Diploma required, but BS in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
