Travel Retail Supervisor

Contract type: Full time

Hours: 40 hours per week

Shift type: Flexible to suit business needs – including opening/closing & weekends

Hourly rate: $26 per hour

Travel Allowance: $120 per month

Reporting to: JFK Account Manager

The purpose of the Supervisor role is to support the overall day to day operations, managing the daily service delivery. This is a shop floor-based role for JFK Terminals 1, 4, 5 & 8.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and motivated, with a positive attitude and the ability to drive continuous improvement both within their team and their own personal development. Applicants should be good communicators; able to deliver a fair and consistent approach when dealing with HR or performance related matters.
Applicants should be able to lead by example, so reliability is essential.
Finally, we require applicants to positively reflect the agency in their attitude, values and behaviours, when representing the company both to our team and our clients.

Day to day duties:
o Management of team on the shop floor; including delivery of briefs, inducting new hires, attendance, punctuality, performance, and grooming o First level performance management, including corrective action o Support the JFK Account Manager in delivering the client objectives o Conflict resolution o Instilling a one team service message, to include communication of service agenda, destination targeting and passenger journeys o Coaching the team for continuous development, including sales and product training o Collecting & collating feedback and sales figures o Represent Ethos Farm to your Clients, developing relationships with key contacts o Be fully aware of industry(s) which your Clients trade in and anticipate any changes that could occur. o To support last minute shift coverage of sickness/ absence o Assist with and attend training sessions o Hold staff Return to Work meetings, where applicable

Skills Required:
o Good communication skills, both written and verbal o Good understanding of excel o Computer literate o Performance Management experience o Experience in luxury retail, preferably Beauty / Cosmetics
