Overview:
The Treasury and Card Services Manager oversees the daily operations, reporting, management, and coaching of employees, for both the Treasury and Card Services teams. Ensures the timely and accurate completion of departmental work and management reports, supervising, training, and evaluation of direct reports, coordinating the workflow within the department(s) and resolving complex problems. Responsible for identifying efficiencies, maintaining quality standards and employee expectations. This position involves developing and completing projects resulting from changes in technology or new services offered to customers.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee department workflow and effectively communicate decisions, priorities and relevant information to team members.
  • Manage, motivate, and lead high performing teams; attract, recruit, and retain team members.
  • Clearly communicate performance expectations to team members and address any deficiencies in a timely manner.
  • Mentor team members utilizing Strength Based Leadership Objectives.
  • Monitor workflow for operational efficiency and implement changes and operational improvements where necessary.
  • Provide guidance to employees on departmental projects/issues, coach, develop training plans, lead development conversations and answer day-to-day questions for team members.
  • Prepare and deliver reporting to management in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional organizations.
  • Maintain confidentiality; adhere to CrossFirst Bank policies and procedures; comply with laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Interact with internal and external clients while providing extraordinary service.
  • Develop and maintain trusted, positive relationships with employees, clients and vendors.
  • Represent the Bank and Treasury and Card Services team in a highly professional manner.
  • Complete job assignments in a professional, timely and efficient manner; organize and prioritize work.
  • Reliable and predictable attendance; both on-site and remote work.
Qualifications:
  • Five years of Treasury Services experience
  • Self-starter with strong decision-making skills and the ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of the company, clearly expressing ideas and concepts, both verbally and in writing
  • Proficient Technical skills with Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Two years plus of demonstrated success as a supervisor or manager
  • Working knowledge of FIS core processing and related systems is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
