TRUCK LOADER - BROOKHAVEN, MS

Starting Wage: $19/hour plus $1.50/hour Night Shift Differential. IF you have a Class A CDL and meet the hiring requirements for DOT - Starting Wage: $20/hour plus $1.50 Night Shift Differential. Typical hours are 7PM - 7AM, every other weekend - 3 DAYS OFF exact days depend on shift!

Responsibilities:

• Capable of sketching layout of ice boxes in trailers in order to balance the loads
• Knowledge and capability of entering ice production information into computer system
• Qualified to operate forklifts and pallet jacks
• Must have understanding and capability of loading trailers with dry ice and adjusting rear tandem wheels as necessary
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Able to work in a fast-paced production environment, where many trucks must be loaded during the course of a shift
• Any other duties that can ensure successful company operation.

Qualifications:

• Class A CDL experience preferred
• Complete understanding of DOT laws preferred
• Able to frequently/continually lift 30lbs while twisting, reaching and bending
• Able to stand for a 12-hour shift in non-climate-controlled environment
• Demonstrated ability to work on a team
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality
• Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
