Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong command over C# is a must.
• Need to be well-versed with developing games or interactive experiences in Unity.
• Preferred: 3+ years or more of experience in Unity 3D app development.
• Knowledge of building Augmented Reality, Mixed Reality or Virtual Reality experiences would be an added advantage
• Prior exposure to building for Microsoft HoloLens would be a plus.

As a Unity 3D developer, you will be in charge of creating interactive and engaging AR/VR/MR experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with various teams to understand the existing tech stack and data flow.
• Work with back-end engineers to make sure that the data that is transmitted to the Unity app/experience is in the right format.
• Apply modern UI/UX practices for creating experiences for users in a virtual space (VR environment) and for Augmented Reality experiences (AR apps).
• Work with both 2D and 3D assets and ensure the right kind of optimizations are in place.
• Implement appropriate algorithms/logic for positioning 3D elements in a scene.
• Create and apply the right kind of materials and textures as well as create shaders as needed.
• Manipulate meshes using code as needed.
• Script interactions between various elements to create an engaging experience.
• Deploy the application to AR/VR/MR headsets and test the application to ensure that the app provides the best experience to the user in a virtual/augmented environment.
• Deliver clean and robust code that follows good software development practices.
• Communicate with stakeholders to understand business needs and proactively engage in improving processes and deliverables.
