McDonald Automotive is looking for experience techs that want the opportunity to develop their skills as a Used Car Technician. We service used car inventory for our 5 dealership on Broadway (Mazda, Hyundai/Genesis, Audi, VW, and Volvo) and we have more cars than we can handle. We are looking for individuals that can perform in a high pace environment with little to no immediate oversight.

Expectations

• Perform used vehicle inspections and repairs.
• Routine inspections and maintenance.
• System diagnostics.
• Full automotive trouble shooting and testing.
• Continuously expanding your knowledge for new technologies and practice.
• Use a computer to utilize factory software to send service details to service advisors.
• Perform road tests for diagnosis of consumer’s complaint and verification of repair.
• Work as a team along with the service advisors communicating vehicle needs.
• Perform vehicle warranty work.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (Required)
• Prior experience can be dealer or independent
• All levels of qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve is most important
• Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
