Our Porters & Utility team members work in a 24/7 environment maintaining cleanliness standards in all areas of the facility. This includes cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, locker rooms, employee cafeteria and food production / warehouse areas of the facility. Also includes working in the dish room and pot washing areas.
The Ideal Candidate must be able to:
- Work assigned schedule which may include nights, weekends and holidays
- Work overtime when required
- Pass a criminal background check and drug test
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment as required
- Able to work in both hot and cold environments
Responsibilities and job duties
- Familiar with basic maintenance or cleaning procedures
- Must be able to stand, bend, lift and move intermittently during an 8-hour shift
- Work around moving parts & wet floors.
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs and/or push up to 50 lbs
- Comply with all work rules and regulations
- Familiar with proper chemical handling and MSDS
- Ability to speak, read and understand English.
- Able to take directions and learn new processes as needed
