We are looking for a Venture Capital Analyst Associate capable of writing in-depth research reports and presentations of technologies, markets, industries, and public company comparables.

Responsibilities

Venture Capital Analyst includes is responsible for the following:

• Research technologies related to venture investments the firm is considering
• Writing in-depth research reports and presentations of technologies, markets, industries, and public company comparables.
• Write venture investment summaries for investments the firm is considering
• Perform other assignments as requested and proactively identify value-adding projects and initiatives
• Effectively communicate and exhibit the desire to function as a team member, demonstrate attention to detail and be accurate across all areas of responsibility

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience in research of industries, technologies and companies
• Strong writing skills
• Extensive understanding of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of financial modeling and financial forecasting a plus
• Experience writing investment memos, teasers and internal approval materials.
• General knowledge of pro formas is needed
• The ability to manage multiple, current priorities and easily adapt to changing priorities is necessary as is the ability to think analytically to develop and recommend effective solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (written and verbal) are required as is the ability to foster effective working relationships with peers and partners.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's (MBA or a master’s degree in finance preferred)
• Top academic performance
• Relevant venture capital knowledge and/or experience
• No institutional investment experience is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year with potential for bonuses
