Briarwood Veterinary Hospital in Grand Blanc, Michigan is looking for our next associate veterinarian. We have true team spirit and complete dedication to the care of our patients and education of our clients. Our worth as a team is evident in the relationships we build within our clinic and out in the community. We are known in the area for our efforts to aid wound healing and long-term orthopedic problems with our trained and seasoned technicians preforming laser treatments for our patients. We also offer a therapeutic laser program.
We support the Humane Society of Genesee County as well as the other adoption agencies in our area. Our proudest accomplishment is supporting and caring for the Grand Blanc city police dog, Cash, and the support and pro bono work we do for Deputy Daphne, the Genesee County Labrador, who comforts children in the community.
Our doctors have a 5:2 vet to staff ratio and there is an amazing synergy and low turnover which leads to a pleasant work environment. The work week for this position is three days and every third Saturday, but we are flexible.
The area of Genesee County and the town of Grand Blanc are simply outstanding. We have great schools, wonderful outdoor recreation areas and a whole variety of family activities to enjoy. We are in the best area for buying an affordable home with reasonable property taxes. The amount of hiking, boating, kayaking and nature adventures you can have here is fantastic. We are one hour from all the coolness of Detroit and 20 minutes away from the cultural center and the famers market of down town Flint.
