This job position will include responsibilities as a veterinary assistant and also as a dog day camp counselor.
Our veterinary assistant team is a happy, friendly, group responsible for our patient care. Your role will include taking patient histories from the client, collecting fecal, urine and blood samples, educating clients about well care- vaccinations, parasitic preventatives, nutrition- care of our hospitalized patients, and general housekeeping duties.
Our Dog Day Camp Counselor is a happy, dog-loving, person responsible for our wonderful, playful daycare campers. Our camp runs Monday through Friday 8am-6pm. Your role will be greeting the campers as they arrive and creating a fun-filled day for each. Their day should include time for playing, socializing, and unique experiences such as tunnels and bubbles. As you enjoy your interactions, take pictures for our
facebook and Instagram pages and fill out report cards with printed pictures for the pet parents to enjoy!
Candidates must have excellent skills in the following areas:
Client service
Communication verbally and written
Multi-tasking
