Veterinary Receptionist - FT Job at Shelter Island Veterinary Hospital
Shelter Island Veterinary Hospital is seeking a FT Veterinary Receptionist. We are a Small Animal Veterinary Hospital in Point Loma, close to the freeways, downtown and the beach area.
The ideal candidate would be professional and shine at providing the best in customer care for our clients. You must possess the drive to provide only the best care of our clients and their pets. We are open 5 days per week 8a-6p. We are closed on weekends.
The ideal candidate will have great communication and customer service skills, be a quick learner and be able to deal with clients who need some extra care. Candidate should be familiar with common preventatives for dogs and cats, as well as possess knowledge of wellness care recommendations such as vaccines, deworming, blood panels, dentistry, etc.
Previous veterinary experience is desired, but we are willing to entertain applicants with certification in veterinary assisting. If you have NO experience, and NO training in the veterinary field, your resume will not be considered.
