Our Talent Acquisition team is excited to add a Veterinary Recruiting Coordinator to our growing team. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Talent, you will assist strategically and proactively insupporting the Para and Veterinarian recruitment programs of top talent for our small animal veterinary practice-level positions (think Certified Veterinary Technicians, Veterinary Assistants, and Practice Managers).

You will also help develop and lead our early talent and on-campus recruitment program, working closely with veterinary and trade schools within the US to proactively build relationships and provide the employer of choice content to support students when they graduate.

WellHaven Pet Health is a growing network of 45 veterinary hospitals; most are AAHA-accredited, soft tissue, small animal practices that provide an ideal balance of support and autonomy for our veterinary specialists at all stages of their careers.

About the role - key responsibilities:

  • Help supporting our comprehensive recruitment strategies, programs (i.e., our campus recruitment program, social media campaigns, events, travel support, etc.), processes, systems, and tools focused on attractive practice-level team members.
  • Supporting our recruitment and sourcing strategies based on consultations with hiring leaders, workforce plans, and labor markets
  • Supporting our recruitment process, including posting compelling job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, to ensure both a great candidate and hiring manager experience
  • Build strong relationships with internal recruiting team and practice managers supporting a viable talent pipeline for future work-force-plan needs
  • Support and participate in college job fairs and recruiting events with the Recruiting team.

Qualifications you bring:

  • One or more years of recruitment coordinator support, supporting a team of full-cycle recruitment, veterinary experience is preferred.
  • Experience working with credentialed hospital associates and candidates is a plus!
  • Solid proficiency in HR systems (e.g., Applicant Tracking Systems, HRIS)
  • Experience supporting HR initiatives in the US is preferred.

Compensation: DOE – 60k – 75k

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
