Responsibilities

• Creates effective working relationship with hospital leadership to ensure standards of care are understood, effectively communicated, and delivered upon.
• Serves as the subject-matter expert to the technician and assistant team regarding daily operations, patient care, and skill development.
• Serves as a mentor to staff by demonstrating positive work habits, excellent clinical skills, and business knowledge.
• Works directly with Medical Director and Hospital Manager in creating new policies and procedures and works to implement changes to the team.
• Provide performance reviews to LVTs and VAs. Provide hospital leadership with recommendations related to performance management and discipline. Participate in hiring and firing of LVTs and assistants.

Skills and Basic Qualifications

• LVT license in WA state.
• 2+ years of experience in multi DVM and LVT practice.
• Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary code of ethics.
• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Works collaboratively with hospital team members.
• Makes decisions confidently and effectively.
• Manages time and tasks appropriately.
• Models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients.
• Commitment to ongoing educational development and growth.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
