Bryn Mawr Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced veterinary technician to join our team. We are a multi-doctor, progressive, fast paced, full service veterinary hospital also offering boarding, daycare, grooming and training. We are looking for a dynamic associate who is eager to provide high quality medicine to our patients and compassion to our clients.

Practicing high quality medicine is made easier with our amazing team, in-house laboratory, digital radiography, therapy laser, and visiting specialists!

A successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual committed to practicing the highest standard of medicine with a genuine compassion for pets and clients. In addition, good communication skills, appropriate time management skills, and positive work attitude are critical. The right candidate will contribute to the growth of our practice through learning, taking initiative, prioritizing tasks and working well within the veterinary team. We strive to provide excellent health care to our patients and compassion to our clients during every single visit!

Job Responsibilities:

• Build a rapport with clients
• Communicate with clients on topics such as pet diagnosis, treatment plans, nutritional needs and preventative care
• Maintain client-patient medical and surgical records
• Assist in the development of our team to ensure the highest quality of care and exceptional customer service
• Medication preparation and administration.
• Specimen preparation for laboratory testing, either in-house or at our reference laboratory.
• Patient Care and Nursing: phlebotomy, IVC placement and maintenance, etc.
• Surgical and Anesthetic Monitoring.
• Cleaning and sanitizing patient areas.
• Assisting in the reception area and exam room.
• Client contact through telephone, email and in person.
• Data entry, invoicing and appointment making.
• Other duties, as assigned.
