Vice President of Sales

Reports to: SVP, Operations

Ivy Rehab is seeking a qualified, enthusiastic, and effective Vice President of Sales to oversee its sales function of 40+ people across 14 states. The individual in this role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and leading sales strategies across the different markets in which Ivy operates. This role will lead the Sales team and will work to build and maintain relationships with key referral sources to grow and accelerate new patient volume. As a key member of the leadership team, this individual will work closely with the operations leaders to develop and implement creative sales and strategies to keep up with Ivy's rapid growth.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a high performing Sales team focused on accelerating referral growth across each of Ivy Rehab’s markets and service lines
  • Hold Sales team accountable through a data-driven approach for strategic implementation and KPI achievement within their regions
  • Inspire team to think creatively to develop strategies for building relationships and enhancing the Ivy Rehab brand with both new and existing referral sources
  • Lead strategy and implementation of plans to grow referral base by expanding the number of referring physicians and by increasing share with existing physician relationships
  • Help define role clarity in sales motion between sales teammates, operations leaders and clinicians
  • Contribute to a culture which is disciplined, accountable and collaborative to achieve patient care, growth, and profitability goals
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • 10+ years of relevant professional sales leadership experience, ideally in a healthcare services setting
  • Experience leading a national salesforce required
  • Multi-site healthcare experience
  • Track record of high performance
  • Goal driven people leader with a successful track record of collaborating across functions within all levels of an organization
  • A relationship builder who has a collaborative working style, with experience of influencing through vision, inspiration and compelling logic
  • Excellent communication skills, with demonstrated history of effectively influencing leadership positions and driving desired outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively at both detail and big-picture levels and to drive projects forward
  • Strategic and analytical thinker with demonstrated ability to prepare and implement action plans, and lead improvement initiatives
  • Strong interpersonal communications skills including ability to listen effectively and to communicate information clearly
