Title: Videographer/Editor

Location: Dallas, TX and surrounding areas with remote flexibility

Job Purpose: LTK is looking for a highly-skilled Videographer and Editor who can create shareable and exciting content for our owned and earned media channels. Our ideal candidate is familiar with the latest video editing tools and techniques, always focused on improving their craft. They'll thrive both in a fast social content environment as well as in long-form content; a passion for storytelling is essential. Our PR & Creative teams believe good design and content requires teamwork and diverse ideas to create engaging experiences so collaboration is a big part of this role.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Film videos on set or on location per direction from Sr Producer/Manager, Video & Motion Design
• Assist other videographers who may be onsite and follow guidance from Lead Videographer to ensure all footage from the creative brief is captured
• Ensure that equipment for a shoot is present and in working order
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand video demands across the business and work closely with the Video & Motion Design team to ideate on creative briefs
• Edit film footage in post-production and share for stakeholder approval
• Produce original content on all digital platforms that evoke emotion and tell compelling stories
• Collaborate closely with other designers on the Creative team to work within brand guidelines to create videos that reinforce our brand's style and voice
• Maintain a close partnership with our PR and Marketing teams to ensure consistent brand expression across all consumer touchpoints
• Attend editorial and creative kickoff meetings, participate in discussions, and suggest story ideas

Skills and Requirements

• BA/BS in Journalism, Communications or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in commercial videography, photojournalism, editing, and content management systems
• Proficiency with Sony F series cameras, composition, lighting, and sound recording design
• Proficiency using the latest editing tools including but not limited to Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects
• Experience in motion graphics design a big plus
• Proven ability to generate creative, engaging, content-driven shots
• Demonstrated editorial judgment, writing skills, photography experience, and non-linear editing skills
• Use creative production techniques such as graphics and new forms of media (user generated content, webcam interviews, etc.) to enhance stories
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities and effectively deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic agile environment
• Respectful when challenging assumptions and give and receive feedback with equal grace
• Estimate work, commit and deliver on deadlines and are vocal when risk arises
• Team player that enjoys collaborating cross functionally and working with a great group of designers, who genuinely care about design and each other
• Occasional travel is required for off site productions
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more unassisted
