Virginia CARES Case Manager (Galax) Job at People Incorporated of Virginia
People Incorporated is seeking qualified applicants for a Virginia CARES Case Manager. The program addresses the successful reentry and de-institutionalization of felons in the Commonwealth of Virginia. This position will oversee all aspects of the Virginia CARES program to include supervision of the CARES staff. Virginia CARES Case Managers are also responsible for completing required program reports; meeting program goals; financial management of program budgets as well as providing post-release services to eligible clients. Strong oral and written communication skills, to include speaking before groups. A minimum of a two-year degree in a human services field of study and two years’ experience working in a probation department, court services unit, and/or providing services to hard-to-service clients preferred. Experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements.
