The Virtual Trainer will provide training and development to frontline new hires – Mobile Associates/Mobile Experts/Retail Sales Lead - job titles. He/she must thrive in a dynamic and high energy environment. The position is inspired by the challenge of providing frontline employees with the educational tools they need to succeed at Verge Mobile. The Virtual Trainer is accountable for realizing the full potential of Verge Mobile by developing and training the frontline positions in the wireless industry, which will lead a top performing sales team.


Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the planning and development of new course materials and maintaining or updating existing course materials related to Onboarding, Sales, Customer Experience, and Wireless industry.
  • Utilizes Virtual Instructor led Training (VILT) practices to train a diverse audience in both size of group and experience
  • Assist in review and analyze training using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as classroom training, demonstrations, online job aids and on demand presentations to better utilize the technology available for reaching a large workforce. Deliver training using Adobe, WebEx, or other virtual software
  • Aptitude to quickly learn new tools/technology in Wireless and Virtual Facilitation
  • Become an end user subject matter expert to provide structured onsite classroom training for small or large groups and ensure a positive impact to employees
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training and course design by continually providing evaluations at the end of each training session
  • Properly maintain all training records through programs such as Webex, Adobe, Workplace, and various TMobile systems. Track, record results in Excel, Powerpoint, and Microsoft Word
  • Knowledge in sales strategy concepts and principles to assist in the development of instructor guides, student manuals, job aids, and videos
  • Participate on implementation project teams, ensuring training tasks are executed successfully throughout the project cycle and the ability to share knowledge and work in a strong team-oriented environment
  • Develop and instruct highly professional training sessions Support larger training team as needed and complete special projects assigned.
  • Conduct in-store visits, train representatives in stores, and keep abreast of company policy/procedures when not delivering virtually.
  • Collaborates with field leaders and prepares them for cascade training
  • Evaluate the overall effectiveness of the training events based on attendees' feedback
  • Travel up to 10%

Qualifications:

Preferred Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or four years of experience equivalent to related field
  • Three (3) years of sales curriculum development and/or delivery training experience
  • Three (3) years of Wireless experience
  • Experience facilitating effective and engaging presentations using a variety of methods (face-to-face and Virtual)
  • Experience facilitating learning to a diverse audience with a variety of leadership and learning engagement styles
  • Experience reading, analyzing and discussing possible action plans based on business performance metrics
  • Consultative sales and sales management experience in a customer-focused and operationally excellent retail environment or in fields involving consumer technology, applications and conten
