Job Description

The Playaway Products Group team is looking for a visual designer to join our team. The right person for us is creative, ambitious, and self-motivated with a strong background in graphic design and web design. You will be responsible for executing graphic design for both print and online projects for products under the Playaway brand and assist in the creation of title artwork for Playaway. This person will also be the leader in creating a new brand identity for the Playaway Products Group as we expand our product line and shift into a new world of audio.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the marketing team to execute design projects from print, web, and product designs through visual layouts for print
• Set a tone of collaboration and iteration between multiple teams and complete product design projects from pre-planning through launch
• Act as a key contributor to brand and product strategy
• National tradeshow booth concept and asset design

Qualifications and Preferences

• You have a people-focused design mentality and want to craft beautiful designs and product elements that are delightful to use and make meaningful impact.
• Strong creative and conceptual skills
• Strong typography skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Desire and demeaner to work in a fast pace, constantly changing environment, while adhering to strict timelines
• A friendly “whatever it takes” attitude, long with strong worth ethic
• Committed to a continuous self-improvement in a collaborative, value-driven environment
• Strong proficiency in Mac-based Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience using HTML, CSS and Javascript is a plus
