Paragon Sports, New York City's finest sports specialty store, is now hiring part time Visual Merchandisers.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Merchandising Division is looking for a highly energetic visual merchandiser to join our team. This is an exciting, fast-paced role in which you will be responsible for effectively showcasing our unique product selection. Our sales floor is constantly changing to present the most recent collections, seasonal adventures, and athletic events. From implementation, adaptation, maintenance and standards to mannequins, floor move changes you will be part of the team that puts it all in place.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Collaborate with cross functional partners to effectively execute visual merchandising displays/presentations and product adaptations within assigned area(s) of store.
• Complete tasks and manage time efficiently
• Actively maintain store appearance, keeping merchandise stocked and organized, while ensuring that the store itself is clean and well presented.
• Provide visual merchandising support for special events and expo installations.

REQUIREMENTS:

- 1-3 years visual merchandising experience

- Maintain a reliable attendance record

- Work a flexible schedule dependent upon the needs of the business including weekends/evenings

- Adapt accordingly and efficiently to daily tasks

- Must be comfortable in working in a fast pace environment

- Utilize computer systems for inventory tracking, email communications, etc.

- Meet the physical demands of frequent lifting, climbing stairs/ladders, moving fixtures, etc.
