ReelHeART Festival Group is a fully registered 19 year-old Not-For-Profits Arts Organization. ReelHeART celebrates the Culture of Film and all Aspects of Indie Filmmaking from Acting, to Script, to Screen. ReelHeART is an open genre Competition for Premieres of Film, Documentaries, Screenplays and TV Pilots from the best in Emerging and Master Indie Filmmakers and Screenwriters from Around the Block and Around the World.

Each year we hold Five (5) Premiere Only Competitions for Filmmakers and Screenwriters. Our largest event is the week-long ReelHeART International Film and Screenplay Festival held during the 1st week of July in Toronto, Canada. We also hold year-round Community and Film Related Events Online (during Covid 19), in and around Toronto's GTA, Hamilton, Ontario. Europe and the USA.

Our Social Media Team, Spearheads Awareness and Excitement for our Live and/or Online Film Festivals and Events to be well Executed, Fun and Interactive.

Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To:

. Maintain Social Media Accounts

· Create Interactive ‘Call to Action’ Awareness Content for Social Media

· Build Quality Relationships With Followers with Fun Posts, Updates, Polls, etc.

· Design Promotional Graphics, Imbed Videos, Manage Organization Branding

· Drive Social Media Traffic, Engage Target Audience, Attract Followers, Views, Likes

· Collaborate With Team Members and Carry out Role Specific Administrative Duties

· Meet and Work via Zoom

Job Requirements
· Must Speak, Read, Write And Comprehend Advanced English

· Must be Responsible and Show Up for Each and Every Online Shift

· Must Be an Advanced User of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Zoom

· Must Be Tech Savvy, Understand Social Media Channels, Functions And Trends

· Must Have Some Experience In Digital Marketing Attracting Audiences

· Must Have Experience With Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Zoom + Live

· Must Understand and Creatively Use Image Processing Software, Techniques

· Must Work As A Team And Self Managed On Tasks

· Must Understand Written And Verbal Communication and Instruction Online

· Must Have Your Own Personal, Private Computer And Your Own Personal, Private Smartphone – Both With Reliable, Fast Wifi – Or Data Plan At All Times Must Have An Up-to-Date Computer Operating System

Job Specific Duties/Responsibilities

· Manage All or Some of Our Festival Group Social Media Platforms

· Schedule And Post Upcoming Content As Required

· Create Compelling, Engaging and Successful Content Across All Channels

· SuperUser Knowledge and Implementation Of Image Formatting (Framing, Color, Optimization), Hashtags, Links And Tagging People, Organizations And Photos

· Research Films, Speakers And Share Relevant Content To Heighten Interest

· Develop Interactive, ‘Call to Action’ Content To Build Audience Awareness

· Drive Social Media Traffic, Engage Target Audience, Attract New Followers, Views, Likes

· Recognize Potential Trends And Opportunities To Increase Online Engagement

· Proof Read, Create and Edit Content, Imbed Videos and Trailers

· Collaborate With Team Members on Role Specific Duties and Market Objectives

Education, Job Qualifications and Skills
· Education Or Experience In Social Media, Marketing, Communications Or Public Relations or Currently Pursuing A Diploma or Degree in Same

· Related Experience As A Social Media Content Creator Or Web Content, Blogging, Journalism

· Passionate About Social Media, Graphics, Employer Branding/Brand Identity

· Strong Organizational Ability and Time Management Skills

· High Attention To Detail
