What We’re Looking For
As MOCEAN continues to grow, we’re seeking a strategically minded sales executive who can help us apply our entertainment marketing success to new and more diverse brands. This person must be part hunter, with the ability to source and connect with clients looking for a non- traditional agency, and part strategist, with the ability to sense the market forces and identify new opportunities with new partners. As such, this candidate will have the opportunity to shape the Agency’s strategy and develop their own path here.
The candidate should be collaborative, outgoing, a great communicator, and have a passion for creating fun, beautiful work together with high-caliber brands. The candidate should also welcome the opportunity to help shape the next wave of our continual expansion.
Responsibilities
- Source, nurture and maintain new business leads by conveying MOCEAN’s strategic and creative services to clients outside of the entertainment industry. Verticals of focus include: gaming, sports, lifestyle and automotive.
- Build relationships that will grow our Agency of Record relationships as well as secure project-based assignments with brands.
- Work with clients to understand their needs and present creative solutions to their challenges.
- Guide and enhance company sales materials such as capabilities decks to ensure the best offering for each client.
- Attend industry events and keep up with relevant news to ensure we the Agency is proactively sourcing new prospects.
- Provide insight on growth areas, per client feedback.
- Continue to follow up with clients after the sale to ensure they are receiving the best possible customer experience.
- Ultimately, achieve or exceed yearly sales goals.
Requirements
- 5+ years of creative agency experience working with high level marketing decision makers in a new business role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding defined sales goals.
- Known as a hunter who is hungry to make new connections and offer solutions to client’s challenges.
Compensation + Benefits
Salary range: $120,000 -150,000 + Commission
The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including applicant’s qualifications, years of relevant experience and geographic location. Total compensation package will also include other elements, including paid time off, subsidized health insurance (medical, dental, vision) and 401(k) participation plus company match.
