The Vice President of Finance & Administration ensures maximum return on resources and assets by establishing financial procedures, controls, and reporting systems. With an entrepreneurial spirit and intellectual curiosity, this role will oversee accounting operations, gathering, and analyzing financial data, and preparing financial reports. Also, the VP of Finance & Administration serves as an advisor to the CEO and executive team for strategic planning purposes and is responsible for developing and directing the company’s financial plans and policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with CEO & VP of Operations to establish and track revenue goals.
• Participate in strategic planning and forecasting as well as completion of corporate and divisional reports and budgets. Responsible for the integrity of all financial information and reports.
• Strategically advise and assist with Contract Management, Negotiation and Signing.
• Increase net revenue in alignment with corporate goals.
• Manage wrap rate. Establish and monitor internal budgets (both direct and indirect). Continually improves the budgeting process through education of division directors and VPs on financial issues.
• Ensure compliance will all applicable laws and regulatory agencies.
• Oversight for Human Resources and Accounting Departments.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of financial benchmarking, accounting, audit and tax compliance, and other regulatory matters.
• Federal Government Contracting including quoting, progress payments, milestones, and percent of completion billing.
• Utilize relevant local, state, federal, and international law knowledge to expand business capabilities
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, problem-solving and organizational skills
• Responsible for all financial reporting activities for GAAP compliance
