VP, SBA Loan Servicing
Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supervising the SBA Servicing Officers, Collection Officers and SBA Servicing Specialist.
- Handle all servicing requests (including, but not limited to: deferments, collateral substitutions, restructures and assumptions) requested by a borrower.
- Collect and analyze annual financial information from clients.
- Monitor loans for possible risk rating changes. Monitor classified loans on a quarterly basis using the Special Attention Credit (SAC) Report.
- Ensure financial statements, life insurance and tax return ticklers are current and properly maintained.
- Assist with follow up on any delinquent loan accounts.
- Monitor and follow up on delinquent property taxes.
- Monitor and maintain performance based loans according to policy.
- Conduct post-closing audit to comply with credit display and loan authorization.
- Demonstrate a satisfactory understanding of and adherence to the Bank Secrecy Act/Patriot Act/OFAC regulations as they relate to the specific job duties assigned.
- Demonstrate a satisfactory understanding of and adherence to all applicable compliance regulations as they relate to the specific job duties assigned.
- Demonstrate a satisfactory understanding of and adherence to EEO/AA policy; show respect and sensitivity for cultural differences; promote a working environment free of harassment of any type.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
The SBA Servicing Supervisor directly supervises associates in the SBA Portfolio department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the bank’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year college in business/financial industry related: or
- Eight years related experience and/or training; or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience of financial analyzing and loan servicing experience with SBA loans.
- Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
Computer and Software Skills:
- Microsoft office suite
- Knowledge of database software
- Internet software
- Spreadsheet software and word processing software.
- Basic typing skills are required to meet production needs of the position.
