We are seeking people to join our team who will use their unique and positive attributes to make an impact in our communities by providing fresh organic products and promoting healthy lifestyles. If this sounds like an opportunity you would be interested in, we will be conducting walk-in interviews for our new store in Hollywood every Wednesday from 10am to 2pm. For those who cannot make it on Wednesdays, please apply to this posting and we can schedule interviews outside of that day.

Below are the positions and brief descriptions:
Deli Clerk:
TYPICAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide excellent customer service
- Package, weigh, and price items ordered by the customers from the deli case
- Maintain and rotate products and displays to avoid damages or spoilage
- Set up deli case ? re-bowl dishes as needed, put out fresh ingredients
- Label products with appropriate dates and prices
- Remove expired product and discard according to store procedures
- Restock shelves and deli case, cups cutlery, & other supplies from stock room
- Prepare special orders submitted by customers and ready for them when they arrive
- Sample items with customers to increase sales
- Read and understand recipe?s in English
- Maintain the store facility clean, neat and orderly
- Share new ideas to management that would improve the department
- Interact with vendors
- Assist in other duties as assigned
Grab 'N' Go Prep:
TYPICAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare recipes for established menu by looking over the Daily Prep List at the start of each shift
- Ensure the freshness and quality of prepared food
- Prepare soups, corn bread, biscuits- and refill as needed
- Ensure that leftover food is store properly
- Test the temperature of food at specified intervals
- Fill cold line with prepared vegetables and refill as needed
- Cover for cooks during 10 minute breaks and lunch break if able to
- Promptly report equipment and food quality problems to a manager
- Inform manager immediately of product shortages
- Follow Mother?s safety rules and regulations.
- Keep all work areas clean and observe Health Department regulations
- Attend all scheduled employee meetings
- Customer Service
Juice Bar Lead:
TYPICAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with fellow employees and lead by example (i.e., dress attitude, performance, cleanliness, acknowledgment of customers, attendance and observance of and compliance with company safety standards)
- Be familiar with all positions in case of staff coverage issues
- Run breaks for all staff in the juice bar
- Document any situations or problems to the Food Service Manager directly or through the daily Manager?s Reports
- Monitor employee attendance and development
- Ensure the juice bar?s daily ?Organics? list is updated for that day?s business
- Check staff appearance- proper uniform, cleanliness, and name badge
- Inform Food Service Manager on new ideas to improve productivity & customer service, procedure problems, customer complaints, recipe consistency and quality control
- Identify and report equipment problems and schedules immediate repair
- Manage front and back stock & inventory procedures, scanning out product & transfers, placing all necessary product orders on time
- Be responsible for scan card use of voids, discounts, & returns
- Help with reviews, interviews, & disciplinary actions
- Other duties as assigned.
Juice Bar Server:
TYPICAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet and provide prompt courteous customer service
- Prep fruits and vegetables for fresh juices- continuous as needed (Must be able to read and understand recipe?s in English)
- Make fresh juices using electric juicers
- Assist customers with questions and product selection
- Completes customer orders in a timely manner
- Maintain juice bar department area clean and sanitized
- Maintain safety of work area
- Assist in the deli as needed
- Follow departmental procedures for safety, proper food handling, and sanitation according to local, state, and federal health code regulations
- Use a cash register
Kitchen Cook:
TYPICAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise, delegate and prepare food items and set-ups for both cold and hot line tables
- Prepare and fill orders in a timely manner
- Maintain quality control of foods served by ensuring proper rotation and storage in accordance with applicable health codes and company standards
- Maintain company standards for presentation of food with respect to appearance, taste, temperature and portion size
- Monitor customer food item requests and serve ?off ticket? side orders and requests
- Provide specified inventory, at all times, of necessary food preparation ingredients
- Assist in planning, setup and maintenance of cleaning schedule for kitchen and kitchen equipment
- Coordinate and communicate with other shifts regarding special orders, food stock replenishing, service, equipment maintenance and problems with food service that may occur
- Inspect kitchen on a continuous basis for cleanliness and safety
- Verify satisfactory completion of closing checklist
- Set example for compliance will all company policies and directives
- Assist in training for all new prep and line cooks and dishwashers

- Serving hot and cold food to customers in a fast paced environment
- Interact with customers and kitchen staff in preparation and delivery of food orders
- Check quality control of prepared items prior to delivery to the table for customer ingestion
- Be prepared to explain menu items, including food content and preparation style
- Assist in making drinks, both hot and cold
- Act as host when needed
- Clean tables of dishes and silverware
- Notify kitchen of order following department procedures
- Deliver food and beverages to table from kitchen
