Summary: Assembles customer orders from stock and packs merchandise in preparation for shipment to customer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Uses scanner to determine location(s) of merchandise to be picked for customer orders.- Ensures that merchandise is clean, free of defect, and is saleable by customer.
- Stages merchandise in tubs or on carts in such a manner as to ensure efficiency when merchandise is packed.
- Packs merchandise in boxes in such a manner as to arrive to the customer intact.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with Big Rock Sports’ safety guidelines, including but not limited to: safe operation of all machinery, tools, and equipment; proper use of safety devices; maintains housekeeping standards.

Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems inventory software and order processing systems.
Certificates and Licenses: Powered industrial equipment certification(s), or the ability to obtain and maintain such certifications through a company-administered, OSHA-approved class.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
