Warehouse Associate Job Description

Maintain a valid & clean driver’s license, drive multiple vehicle models, including 26 ft. flatbed / box truck, and handle heavy lifting, including but not limited to PVC pipes and plumbing materials.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Inventory Control:

- Restocking materials dropped off at the Boynton Beach Warehouse (ex. faucet exchange, from defective or specs change).

- Service orders and returns/parts.

Packaging:

- Input material requests into the system.

- Tag new tools and then input their information into the system.

Driver:

- Pull, load & secure materials onto delivery trucks.

- Deliver, unload, & pick-up materials to all jobsites & vendors.

Prefab Plastic:

- Check pull sheet for every package delivered and ship out of our system.

- Load truck correctly and inform each foreman through email which packages are out for delivery.

Cutter, Gluer, Racker:

- Responsible for collecting materials necessary to start on packages (pipe, glue, tape, etc.).

- The cutter’s role is to ensure that all pipe has been cut precisely in guidance with cut sheets provided by CAD department.

- The gluer's role is to make sure that every fitting has been glued and that all cuts match properly.

-The racker is to ensure that every pipe has been racked comfortably to be loaded on the trucks.

Shipping:

- Process all the tickets (Trim packages, Miscellaneous, Top Out, Trucking Materials, Undermounts) in order to deliver the materials to the corresponding jobsite following the schedule dates.

- Frequently review the Material Request List (Top Out), print, process and deliver them.

- Track all the material on back-order in order to receive them ASAP.

- Load the trucks daily, ensuring that every single material is accounted for.

Pullers:

- Practice proper pulling techniques, following procedure. (Pull, check, and take pictures).

- Assist with loading trucks, following shipper/driver instructions.
