WINTER IS COMING! Would you like to work in town for the World’s Speed Shop?
Our Order Fulfilment Center is looking for regular, full-time employees to join us as we help automotive enthusiasts build or maintain their dream cars by filling their orders.
We have immediate openings in our Inbound and Outbound departments.
Inbound:
  • You’ll replenish prime pick locations with product from receiving and retail. You’ll also pull product from bulk locations to replenish prime locations.
  • Monday – Friday workweek with 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. work schedule
Outbound:
  • You’ll process customers’ orders by picking the specified product and quantity from the designated location. You may also pack the order in the appropriate packaging for shipping.
  • This department operates 7 days per week with various schedules available (5 days/8 hours or 4 days/10 hours). There are two shifts starting at 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. and not scheduled to work past 8:30 p.m. – ($2/per hour shift differential applies to the 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. shift)
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk and talk or hear. Must be able to stand for 8+ hours at a time. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and /or move up to 40 pounds up and down stairs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Ability to maneuver heavy and/or awkward sized products. The employee must be able to maintain a consistent pace throughout the shift and during overtime situations.
Qualifications: To perform these jobs successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
  • Language Skills – Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before employees of organization.
  • Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Reasoning Ability – Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Computer Skills – To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic PC skills, ability to develop knowledge of HP9000 Inventory software and Commands Order processing systems.
  • Other Skills and Abilities – Experience with RF equipment, automotive knowledge helpful, strong understanding and commitment to customer service
