Welder's Supply and Equipment Port Allen, LA 70767
$15 - $18 an hour
We are hiring for a qualified warehouse associate to join our team at our warehouse in Port Allen. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily to company standards.
Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack customer orders for delivery or pickup
- Receive and verify incoming shipments from suppliers and stock in appropriate bin locations
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
- Load trucks for delivery as needed
- Perform cycle and annual inventory counts to ensure inventory accuracy
- Assist in other tasks as workload dictates
- Maintain attendance and punctuality as required by assigned work schedule and within company standards
Work Experience, Skills and Education:
- High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred
- Ability to use ladders and stairs, crouch down, push carts, work on feet, lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs
- Computer literate
- Basic math skills (adding and subtracting), and attention to detail to ensure accuracy of work
- Work well individually and as a team
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
