Full Job Description

We're looking for a Full Time Warehouse Associate/Picker/Packer to help keep our warehouse moving and our customers happy. This position requires strong attention to detail and no small amount of physical labor, so we are seeking an individual with a true passion for logistics and organization. A successful candidate will be responsible for picking, packing and shipping orders, using rf scanners and barcode systems and making sure that we have enough of the right products in stock.

Picker/Packer Job Responsibilities:

• Pick and packs product based on daily orders.
• Pick and packs product accurately as ordered by customers.
• Meets specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.
• Keeps products separated, organized and in good rotation.
• Monitors product quality frequently, reporting problems to mitigate safety issues.
• Operates various pieces of equipment ( RF Scanners, Pallet jacks, tape guns, plastic wrap, plastic and wooden pallets).
• Reports any mechanical, material, inventory and order problems.
• Utilizes continuous improvement mindset and assists in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
• Follows good manufacturing practices and required work safe practices.
• Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements and skills:

• Proven warehouse picker and packer experience - (At least 2 years in one company)
• Ability to operate pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
• Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system
• Team player with organisational skills
• Ability to lift or move heavy products
• Scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing inventory
• Pulling, picking, packing, stacking and loading shipping containers

Education, Experience & Licences requirements:

• Highschool Diploma or equivalent
• Valid DL/ID - Must have reliable transportation (Attendance is important and will be evaluated during probational period).
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 2 years of warehouse associate/picker/packer experience at one place of previous employment
• Stand up Forklift certification is a PLUS! - Not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
