Warehouse Clerk

Clarendon Specialty Fasteners, Inc. is an aerospace hardware distributor located in Signal Hill, CA. Clarendon Specialty Fasteners is looking for a Warehouse Clerk to be part of our Warehouse and Quality team. This is a full time position with reporting hours of 8:15am-5:00pm with a 60 min lunch.

Job Duties

• He/she is responsible for various warehouse duties including reviewing certification packages and data entry.
• Counting incoming received product as well as putting away and locating product in the warehouse.
• Ability to identify and disposition damaged incoming packages.
• Administrative Quality duties: File newly received specifications and certifications.
• Vendor communication for shipment discrepancies and certification requests.
• Shelving and retrieving boxes off the racks using a order picker and/or forklift or pallet jack equipment.
• Stocking newly received product using a barcode system.
• Packing & labeling parts for order processing.
• Loading and unloading our trucks and making weekly deliveries with our truck.

Desired Skills:

• Prior warehouse picking practices are a plus.
• Prior knowledgew with UPS WorldShip and FedEx Software a plus.
• Experience reading and understanding aerospace certifications and test reports is a plus, but not required.
• Experience with an ISO/AS9120A company is a plus, but not required.

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail.
• People friendly and able to work well with others.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Qualified candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Data entry and basic PC skills.
• Must have a great track record with attendance and able to show abide by an attendance policy.
• Professionalism, accuracy and attention to detail required.

Masks and sanitizing stations have been provided throughout the facility. Work stations have been set up utilizing social distancing. Nitrile gloves and protective eyewear also provided. Upon entering, checklists and temperature checks maintained daily.
