About Us

Willamette Valley Pie Company has roots going back to 1999 from the Gerald Roth family farm. The Roth family has been growing berries locally in Salem, Oregon for three generations and their fruit is still used in our products today. We quickly expanded from fruit processing to pie manufacturing to a full line of premium, scratch made, all-natural desserts. We are committed to building upon that legacy and sharing the flavors of the Willamette Valley with the world.

Summary:

Warehouse Clerk is a key component to our warehouse operation’s efficiency and inventory management. Warehouse Clerk will be responsible for verifying internal transfer orders and outbound shipments, receiving inbound loads, processing warehouse picks, and assisting with inventory discrepancies. This person must be a team player with the ability to stand for a full 8 hour shift, focus on critical measurements, and communicate with team members across departments to successfully maintain accurate inventories. This position relies heavily on strong communication and teamwork with all shifts of production, sales, and warehouse departments.

What You’ll Do:

• Master Inventory Management Software (Fishbowl) and use it to equip our team members
• Process paperwork accurately and efficiently
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of your work area
• Organize daily workload for Warehouse crew with guidance from Supervisor
• Receive Purchase Orders in a timely and accurate manner
• Reconcile Transfer Orders between production facility and cold storage
• Maintain dock calendar for inbound/outbound loads
• Verify outbound Sales Orders and process paperwork in a timely and accurate manner

• Scan guns
• Pallet jacks, electric and manual
• Digital scales
• Utility knifes
• Rolling platform ladders
• Cleaning supplies (brooms, mops, ice scraper, etc.)

Skills, Requirements and Minimum Education Level

• Ability to read, write, and speak in English and Spanish preferred
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10 Fahrenheit in Freezer or up to 100 degrees Fahrenheit in dry warehouse while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Possess strong organization skills
• High attention to detail
• High level of comfort with computers
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and tasks assigned at the same time
• Ability to work independently while having a team mentality

Shift available

• Day shift available (7am – 4pm)

Physical Demands

• Lifting/pushing/pulling up to 40lbs regularly and up to 75lbs occasionally.
• Ability to stand for full 8+ hour shifts.
