Warehouse Cooler Production Crew Job at NATIVE WHOLESALE
Native Floral is a leading manufacturer and distributor of fresh cut flower bouquets across the United States. Our mission is to provide our customers with the highest level of quality and service. We are currently hiring a Warehouse Cooler Production Crew Member who is highly motivated, dedicated and works well independently and in a team environment.
Position Summary
Responsible for the organization of the cooler where the entire unworked product is received, stored and distribution of product to the Production team.
Essential Job Responsibilities
· Distribute the product for use in daily production from the information on the pull sheets.
· Check in the newly received product, label with correct date and format a restocking plan.
· Organize and store the product.
· Perform end of day procedures: repack, relabel and reincorporate back in to storage all unused product.
· Complete end of day inventory.
. Maintain warehouse and cooler cleanliness throughout the shift.
· Perform other production/warehouse duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities
· Minimum of one year working in warehouse/manufacturing environment (floral production background is a plus)
· Flexibility in schedule according to the needs of the business (weekend availability required)
· Ability to work in cold environments for extended periods of time
· Experience with using warehouse and receiving tools and materials
· Bilingual – Spanish highly recommended
· Ability to move flower carts with buckets of water, bails of crushed cardboard and stacks of product on pallets with hand jack (300-500 lbs) or moved by certified forklift driver when needed.
. Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screen.
