Warehouse Forklift Operator

Work Mode: Onsite

Location: Baltimore, MD (West)

Direct Hire Opportunity with quick eligibility for benefits.

Starting Pay: $19-20 hourly
Shift: Tuesday – Saturday 7:00am – 3:30pm

Ann Sacks (a division of Kohler Co.) is a leading distributor and manufacturer of luxury tile, stone, and plumbing. We are currently hiring at our West Baltimore warehouse and looking for hard-working, driven, and dependable individuals to be a part our team.

Basic Functions: Seeking a forklift operator with warehousing experience.

Specific Responsibilities

• Practice and follow all required safety regulations.
• Safely and efficiently operate Forklift. On and off forklift multiple times per day.
• Ensure orders are pulled accurately, efficiently, and properly palletized and labeled.
• Keep equipment, tools, and workspace in clean and safe condition.
• Familiar with part numbers and material descriptions.
• Verify LTL shipments are properly loaded, and Bills of Lading are correct.
• Perform all duties as assigned by supervisor. (general warehouse upkeep)
• Job requires repetitive lifting of up to 20-70 pounds.

Supervisory Relationships

1. Reports to Warehouse Lead and Warehouse Manager

2. This position has no direct reports

Skills/Requirements

Minimum 2-years’ experience in a warehousing environment required

Forklift experience / certification required

GED or High School degree required

Self-motivated, strong attention to detail; takes pride in their work

Works well independently as well as in a team atmosphere, promoting a positive and respectful workplace.

Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to stand 8 hours a day and lift up to 50 pounds, up to 15 times per hour

Proficiency in English (reading/writing)

Ability to follow instructions including all safety guidelines

Experience in a manufacturing environment or slab handling a plus

Problem solving ability
