FT 3rd Shift Warehouse Janitorial / Sanitation
Immediate Full Time opening for a qualified 3rd shift Warehouse Utilities/Janitorial/Sanitation position.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Performs preventive maintenance on the sweeper and scrubber.
- Maintains Warehouse sanitation checklist.
- Scrubs the drive thru and warehouse areas on a daily basis.
- Sweeps warehouse floor on a daily basis.
- Compacts cardboard and plastic from the baler and bales as needed.(must be 18 to operate)
- Empties garbage and recycling containers.
- Is alert to any security issues and notifies proper management if any occur.
- Emptying of trash and recycling bins in warehouse areas
- Nightly cleaning of restrooms, break rooms, and other areas in warehouse areas
- General cleaning and organizing of warehouse areas
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Sanitizes production filling equipment daily using standard operating procedures and approved methods/chemicals.
- Participates in completing daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning lists for warehouse and production areas.
- One of three members of sanitation team with weekly rotating focus areas.
Ideal candidates will have prior experience in an industrial warehouse janitorial position. Must be able to self -manage tasks to assure timely completion. 3rd Shift hours are required. This position will also be required to be fork lift certified. Training is available, but prior experience a plus!
