We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead to provide warehouse logistics and production support at Advanced Industrial Device’s new East Coast Production Facility in Fort Mill, South Carolina. This position will report directly to the Vice President of East Coast Operations. Advanced Industrial Devices is a leading nationwide provider of motor controls and variable frequency drive packages headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Requirements:

- Self-motivated and team-oriented.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Four years of experience in material handling and inventory control.

- Previously qualified forklift operator and experienced in both sit-down propane trucks and stand-up reach trucks.

- High School diploma or equivalent GED required.

- Written and verbal English proficiency required

- Proficiency with ERP systems is required, previous experience with Sage100 is a plus.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities:

- Supervise the warehouse and inventory control team in the orderly operation of the warehouse, shipping/receiving and production supermarket areas.

- Coordinate shipping of completed product to the customer, including arranging shipping, reviewing shipments, inspecting packaged product, preparing shipping documents including Bills of Lading (BOLs), staging and loading product on to trucks.

- Prepare packing lists and generate invoices using the company’s ERP system.

- Accurately maintain warehouse and inventory records and shipping/receiving documents.

- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other material handling equipment to move and stage parts. Conduct daily prior to use inspections on forklifts.

- Unload, verify and receive incoming parts and material.

- Prepare outgoing product for shipment including palletizing, banding, wrapping with heat or shrink wrap and completion of shipping documentation.

- Conduct inventory control functions including cycle counting, identifying, labelling, recording inventory locations and reporting shortages.

- Full compliance with the company’s safety policy and procedures is required.

Job Restrictions:

- Candidate will be restricted from hazardous areas until appropriate training is completed.

Physical Requirements:

- Must be able to lift 50 lbs

- Work is in an industrial warehouse environment with outside work expected to unload and stage material. Facility is heated but not air conditioned. Candidates must be prepared to work in the expected temperature range and environmental conditions for the Fort Mill, SC area.

- Candidates must be able to work for extended time in various positions including sitting or standing in a forklift, kneeling, squatting and reaching as required to palletize and prepare products for shipping.

Travel:

No travel is expected. Candidate will work at our Fort Mill, SC facility

Pay: $12.00 - $80.00 per hour
