JOB OVERVIEW:
We seek an enthusiastic WAREHOUSE MANAGER to lead a fast-paced team at our Las Vegas branch. You'll play a key role in contributing to our company's growth!

In addition to prior warehouse leadership experience, we're looking for someone who brings a coach's mindset to the role - someone who brings positivity, a "can do" attitude and natural leadership qualities, as well as strong organizational, problem solving and time management skills.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Overall responsibility to initiate and coordinate all warehouse operations.
  • Sets employee schedules, assigns tasks and monitors results.
- Maintains warehouse inventory - tracks distribution by physical count and computer inventory. Leads physical inventory activities.
  • Reorders supplies as needed by coordinating with the Purchasing Team; receives and processes incoming material.
  • Manages warehouse employees and initiates hiring, training, development, performance evaluations, coaching/counseling, disciplinary action, and termination processes as needed, with support of HR.
  • Maintains warehouse vehicles & equipment by completing preventive maintenance & arranging for repairs as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2+ years of warehouse leadership experience, including managing and developing a team of direct reports, including hiring, training, developing/coaching and termination activities.
  • Ability to quickly and easily earn the team's respect and buy-in.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • 2+ years of material handling, inventory control and inventory management experience, including ordering and tracking inventory using a database system.
  • 2 years of forklift experience. Current/prior forklift certification is a plus but is not required.
  • Ability to create, implement and manage warehouse best practices.
  • Knowledge of RF scanners or similar.
- Technology savvy - prior experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or inventory database system. Experience using Gmail, Google shared drive and/or Excel is a plus but is not required.
  • Knowledge and implementation of proper warehouse safety procedures, equipment maintenance, and best practices.
- Ability to lift and carry products that weigh between 50 - 75 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
  • Valid driver license.
