Job Description:
The purpose of the Day Warehouse Manager is to direct the warehouse management teams to provide excellent service in receiving, storing and issuing materials and supplies, and ensuring warehouse operational efficiency to achieve Branch and Company goals.

• Manage all day warehouse personnel to ensure Ben E. Keith operational objectives are met and maintained.
• Direct and coordinate the receiving, storage, selection, and loading of all products inside and outside of the Branch.
• Perform administrative tasks to ensure compliance with operational policies and procedures.

The key outputs for the Day Warehouse Manager are listed below:

• Manage all day warehouse personnel to ensure Ben E. Keith operational objectives are met and maintained.
• Keep the facilities and all aspects of the warehouse compliant with OSHA standards.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse safety procedures that help to reduce the occurrence of accidents and/or product damage.
• Ensure facility and individual work areas are kept in a clean, uncluttered, and safe condition during shift operation and upon completion of daily duties
• Direct and coordinate the receiving, storage, selection, and loading of all products inside and outside of the Branch
• Assign daily tasks to Warehouse Personnel and provide performance feedback as appropriate.
• Oversee the delivery and pickup of products to ensure compliance with product quality and quantity provided.
• Perform loading and unloading of materials and supplies using appropriate material handling equipment.
• Rotate stock based on product levels as required.
• Adjust product inventory levels to reflect receipts and disbursements.
• Perform inventory and unload of products as needed, and determine appropriate storage locations.
• Perform administrative tasks to ensure compliance with operational policies and procedures:
• Maintain inventory records and internal BEK tracking system
• Record product deliveries and pickups using appropriate documentation and record-keeping standards.
• Observe and monitor operational warehouse activities to ensure the proper record-keeping of outgoing products and materials.
• Conduct assessment of perpetual inventory on a regular basis.

Managerial Duties:

• Supervise duties for day warehouse personnel and management teams.
• Train warehouse personnel as directed.
• Provide performance feedback to personnel.
• Collaborate with other departments to create and improve processes and eliminate those that are no longer valuable

Knowledge and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree OR equivalent warehouse management experience.
Food industry experience preferred.
PC and Microsoft Office; ability to learn and use relevant BEK systems.
Knowledge of OSHA Guidelines required.
Ability to understand and enforce regulatory guidelines.
Knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations.
Demonstrated ability to ensure operational efficiency.
