Summary
This Full-time position is responsible to load and unload product, maintain inventory, transport equipment, materials and/or supplies, and maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
Compensation:
$19.00 per/hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Load and unload trucks recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program.
- Maintain inventory to verify availability of needed product and notify Manager of shortages.
- Prepare customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets.
- Receive and unload incoming material and compare information on packing slips with Purchase Orders to verify accuracy of shipment.
- Sort, count, package, label, and unpack inventory that is received. Responsible for accurately receiving, reporting, and distributing purchased items.
- Sort and place damaged materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins as required.
- Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials or other stock items and distribute items to designated area.
- Clean warehouse for the purpose of maintaining an organized layout and safe work environment.
- Transport products, equipment, materials and/or supplies.
- Operate and dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading material and equipment and provide routine maintenance of equipment.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 21 years of age
Preferred:
- Knowledge of the beverage market
- Two plus years of warehouse experience in receiving production or shipping
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as instructions, correspondence, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write correspondence and routine reports. Ability to speak effectively and present information one-on-one and before small groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have intermediate PC skills and knowledge of Internet software and Microsoft Office applications. Must have the ability to operate general office equipment including copier and fax machine.
