OnTrack Staffing is assisting a new client in Haslet, TX. We are looking for Warehouse Pickers and Packers to package, box and distribute products for the LEGO Group.

We offer 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift opportunities with starting pay between $15-$16/HR.

Medical Insurance is the first of the month following the date of hire.

Monday to Friday with occasional weekends.

The Haslet, Texas facility will be supporting one client, our commercial partner, LEGO Group; to package, box, and distribute LEGOS toys.

Position Overview

The Warehouse Picker and Packer is responsible for building, stocking, and packaging 3rd party displays for customers. Additionally, this role works directly to pack or repack products supplied by customers and prep for distribution. All work performed must adhere to all site safety, quality and GMP standards in conjunction with a high level of urgency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Work either independently or within a group setting to package product or build displays according to work instructions
• Retrieve and stage inventory on the production lines as required
• Stage or restock finished product or additional inventory as required
• Monitor all material, both raw material and finished product, for potential damage or anything else that does not meet the specifications as outlined by the customer
• Continually upkeep housekeeping in all areas of the production floor; including returning items to their original location (i.e. trash cans, brooms, etc.)
• Assisting with regular or ad hoc inventory counts
• Operating the production packaging equipment safely per the work instructions
• Follow all quality and site GMP requirements
• Follow all safety procedures including reporting all incidents
• All other duties as assigned

Position Physical Requirements

• The physical ability to stand and or walk the entire shift
• The physical ability to occasionally bend/stoop, kneel, crouch, and squat to operate and maintain the facility frequently
• The physical ability to use both hands for frequent grasping and occasional fine manipulation and fingering
• The physical ability to frequently carry up to 50 pounds of weight distances of up to 600 feet
• The physical ability to frequently lift to 50 pounds of weight from the floor to above the shoulders
• Weights more than 50 pounds may need to be lifted between the floor and shoulders on rare occasions
• The physical ability to occasionally push various items, such as equipment, filters, motors, tools, pumps up to 75 pounds distances of up to 5’
• The physical ability to occasionally pull various items, such as compressors, tools and equipment up to 75 pounds distances of up to 35’
• The physical ability to tolerate required personal protective equipment such as steel toed shoes, work gloves, safety glasses, ear protection, dust masks, safety belts and safety shoes on a continuous basis
• The visual ability to identify small components at close range or other objects at a distance
• The ability to listen closely to specific sounds to assist in determining potential malfunction
