PICKER / PACKER / CHECKER

A rapidly growing distribution company in Odessa is looking to build a team that is cohesive and hard-working to complete their daily operations. Are you hard-working? No screenings required, start immediately

Responsibilities:

· Pickers: Will use a grocery cart to pick products in order of the paper work order, in a snake-like pattern up and down the isles. Each work order products go into their own separate boxes, once completed they'll put on a pallet for the supervisor to take over to the Check station once completed.

· Checkers: Will dump the contents of the box onto their table, pull the work order up in the computer. Using a handheld scanner, they'll scan the products to confirm the order in the computer. Checkers are responsible for picking any missing products to complete the order. Once completed, they mark it complete, it will invoice their customer and they'll pass the box of product down the line to the Packer.

· Packer: re-pack the boxes neatly, seal and prepare the shipping labels and stack on the pallet for shipping to pick up later.

Qualifications:

• No previous warehouse experience necessary
• Retail and cashier background is preferred
• No drug screening or Background checks required to start working
• Employees must note that the environment is a drug fee workplace, and while on site you are subject to random drug testing

Skills:

• Ability to operate the basic functions of a computer, such as printing and order look-up
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to work as a team
• Ability to work in an environment that is not climate controlled
• Ability to stand for 6-8 hours per day

Working hours:

1st Shift: Full Time: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

2nd Shift: Full Time: 12:30PM - 9:00PM or Part Time: 4:00PM - 9:00PM
